Rooted and Rebuilt Media creates thoughtful, practical Christian books that help believers move beyond surface-level survival and rebuild their lives and relationships according to God’s blueprint.

A flourishing tree with deep roots reaching toward water

Planted by the Water

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.”

— Jeremiah 17:7–8 (NASB 1995)

For the Places Where “I’m Fine” Is Not the Whole Story

Most of us know how to keep going. We smile, serve, work, care for others, and say we’re fine—even when life beneath the surface feels strained. Relationships lose depth. Trials test our foundations. Hearts grow tired. And the connection, peace, or steadiness we were made for can begin to feel out of reach.

Rooted and Rebuilt Media exists for those places—not with platitudes, pressure, or quick fixes, but with biblical truth sturdy enough to live from and practical steps that help you rebuild.

Our Mission

Rooted and Rebuilt Media exists to equip believers with God’s Word and practical, God-designed tools to rebuild their lives and relationships—not by their own strength, but according to His blueprint.

At the heart of that rebuilding is the love of Christ. We do not want readers merely to know biblical principles; we want them to become rooted and grounded in His love (Ephesians 3:17), strengthened by His Spirit, and equipped to live faithfully in the real places where life feels strained.

Because Christian growth is not a bootstrap operation. Lasting change begins with God’s truth, depends on His Spirit, and takes shape through faithful, practical steps.

How We Build

Scripture Gives Us More Than Comfort. It Gives Us a Way to Build.

Rooted in Christ’s Love

Biblical truth is the foundation—not decoration, not a proof text, but God’s living word that roots us in Christ’s love and teaches us how to live from it.

Built with Structure

God’s design can be studied, understood, practiced, and applied in the places that feel confusing.

Honest About the Heart

Emotions, pain, loneliness, fear, and grief are not ignored here. They are brought into the light of God’s truth.

Formed by Grace and Truth

Real growth requires tenderness and honesty. Grace without truth stays shallow. Truth without grace can wound.

Empowered by God

We do not rebuild by willpower alone. We depend on the Holy Spirit to do what human effort cannot sustain.

The Toolbox

Practical Tools for Real Relationships

Tools extend what we can do on our own. You can’t drive a nail with your fist—you need a hammer. The same is true relationally: love, repair, reconciliation, and connection often require more than good intentions. The tools below are simple, biblically grounded guides for the relational work most of us were never taught how to do.

How to Apologize Effectively

A short, biblically grounded guide to repair after rupture — what to say, what to avoid, and how to mean it.

Rebuilding Connection

Why “I’m Fine” is Failing, and How to Build the Essential Relationships Your Heart Was Made For

Most of us know how to say, “I’m fine.” But beneath those familiar words, many of us are quietly carrying loneliness, disconnection, and the ache of not being fully known.

Rebuilding Connection offers a practical, Scripture-grounded framework for rebuilding meaningful connection in your closest relationships. With the insight of a former engineer and the compassion of someone who knows the strain of real life, Debbie DeLine helps readers see that healthy relationships are not as mysterious as they may feel. Scripture gives us a blueprint—and meaningful connection can be built one faithful step at a time.

Struck Down but Not Destroyed

Before Rebuilding Connection, Debbie wrote Struck Down but Not Destroyed, a memoir and biblical guide to living faithfully in the midst of trial. Written from the crucible of young motherhood, medical uncertainty, and raising a child with complex special needs, this book explores what it means to trust God when life does not go according to plan.

A new edition will be released under Rooted and Rebuilt Media in Fall 2026.

About Rooted & Rebuilt Media

Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Relationships fracture. Roles shift. Seasons come that leave us wondering how we got here—and whether we can find solid ground again.

Rooted and Rebuilt Media exists for that moment.

We believe real, lasting change only happens when it is built on the right foundation: the Word of God. But we also believe faith is meant to be lived out practically. The Bible is not only a source of comfort; it is a blueprint. And blueprints are meant to be built from.

That is the heart of everything we do here: bringing Scripture and structure together, so believers do not merely know what God says—they have practical help for learning how to live it.

About Debbie DeLine

Debbie DeLine brings an unusual combination to Christian publishing: a career built on systems thinking and structural problem-solving, and a faith that has been tested, refined, and rebuilt through real life.

As a former mechanical engineer, Debbie knows the strongest structures are not improvised—they are designed. The same is true of our relationships, our homes, and our lives. When she turned that same careful attention toward the questions people struggle with most—how to love well, how to stay connected, how to endure suffering, and how to rebuild after loss or conflict—she found that God had already provided the design. Her work is about helping people read the blueprint.

Debbie has been married for 29 years and is the mother of three children, including an adult son whose complex medical journey became the crucible for much of what she believes about resilience, dependence on God, and faith under pressure.

Whether she is discussing the latest technology with her husband or cheering on her kids, Debbie looks for the “structural integrity” of God’s grace in every season. A lover of deep conversation and a good cup of coffee, she is equally at home hiking the mountain trails of North Carolina or tending to her garden. She has a natural affinity for growing things—whether that’s the plants in her backyard or the people in her community.
